Established in the SF Bay Area in 2007, the husband and wife team of  Martin & Taleen DeArcangelis have dedicated themselves to providing clients with personal, professional and thoughtful immigration services and solutions in a variety of fields and endeavors.  We look forward to providing you with the attention and expertise your immigration journey requires.

THE DYNAMIC DUO

Like all great teams Taleen & Martin combine a diverse set of strengths to provide you with a comprehensive approach to immigration legal services.

Martin DeArcangelis

Attorney/Partner
Prior to solely focusing on immigration law in 2007, Martin honed his advocacy skills by practicing civil litigation. Martin’s civil litigation record included drafting a number of winning motions and case strategies in both State and Federal court matters.  He has successfully employed these skills in creating persuasive immigration petitions and drafting successful appeals with the AAO.

Receiving his J.D. from Pepperdine University, School of Law in 2004, Martin was proud to be on Pepperdine’s first National Championship Trial Team (2002) and was equally proud to work alongside  Prof. Peter Robinson in publishing an influential article on mediation confidentiality published in the Journal of Dispute Resolution.  Martin is is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and admitted to practice in California and before the Northern and Central California United States District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

When he is not assisting clients, Martin is indulging his loves of the arts (in all forms) and pointing out cute dogs for his wife to look at (a duty he happily engages in as they can't have a dog due to Martin's allergies).

Taleen DeArcangelis

Attorney/Partner
Taleen fell into Immigration Law in 1999 and has never looked back.  After steeping herself in Consular Processing for several years and earning her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2003, Taleen expanded her focus to include the complete cycle of business, family and employment immigration in 2007 when she decided to double-down on her life commitment to Martin and for some reason decided it would be a good idea to both live and work together.

Over the course of her career Taleen has spoken at conferences on immigration issues and consular post affairs.  She speaks Armenian and conversational Turkish and had the privilege to co-author with Martin the entry for the U.S. Consulate in Armenia in prior editions of The Visa Processing Guide and Consular Posts Handbook published by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

When not attending to her dedication to Immigration Law, Taleen keeps busy by looking at all the cute dogs her husband points out to her, enjoying the arts (especially theater and dance) and spending time with friends and family.
